The recommended dose of BLUESIL ADD 720 is 5 % with respect to the HCR pre-catalysed compound. It is easily added on a 2-roll mill.
Comments: With transparent HCR compounds opacification may occur. Furthermore, BLUESIL ADD 720 may slightly lower the tensile strength of cured silicone compounds (by between approx. 0.5 to 1 MPa).
Example: The following tables give the change in mechanical properties for MF 135 U and MF 175 U obtained after ageing for 70 hours at 150 °C in ASTM oils 1 and 3. These values are measured after adding 2-4 dichloro benzoyl peroxide with 50 % active ingredients (Peroxide E) and curing for 8 minutes at 115 °C and post-curing the test slabs for 4 hours at 200 °C.
|BLUESIL ADD 720 may be stored at temperatures between -5°C / 23°F and 30°C / 86°F for up to 18 months from its date of manufacturing.||Please consult the Safety Data Sheet of this product.||ELV;Heavy Metals;RoHS;WEEE;Food Contact|
