As a major supplier of release systems to the tire industry, Bluestar Silicones launches Lyndcoat BR2430, a new semi-permanent inside paint and bladder coating, at Tire Technology Expo 2016. Bluestar Silicones LYNDCOAT® tire release agents can be tailor-made to fit manufacturers' processes and meet their needs of productivity, quality and reliability.
The tire manufacturing market constantly strives for productivity improvements. Bluestar Silicones offers a new semi-permanent inside paint and bladder coating with improved properties, providing the highest possible performance level and the most homogeneous compromise between durable bladder protection, slip and air bleed promotion.
Bluestar Silicones new Lyndcoat BR2430 represents a breakthrough compared with conventional products. It enables a decrease in direct and indirect operating costs related to tire curing.
Lower tire defect rates
Bluestar Silicones' latest generation semi-permanent inside paint and bladder coating, Lyndcoat BR2430, has been developed to achieve the lowest ever defect rates.
Combining outstanding and durable slip performance with highest air evacuation promotion and rub-off resistance, it greatly reduces occurrence of buckled and pinched bladder defects and favors curing of perfectly symmetrical tires.
Durable release performance
Lyndcoat BR2430 was developed to insure durable release between tire and baldder. Highest release numbers allow for reduced tire paint-shop occupation, lowest workforce requirements and reduced material costs.
Bluestar Silicones new Lyndcoat BR2430 is particularly low odor and easy to spray.
Lyndcoat BR2430 is colorless and fully transparent when dry and does not present any oily surface aspect.
Reduced build up
Bluestar Silicones new Lyndcoat BR2430 allows for strongly reduced build up on bladder and metal parts of the mold allowing for highly reduced mold pollution and therefore press down time. It nonetheless insures highest release numbers per application while providing durable slip.
Increase bladder life for higher productivity
When using Bluestar Silicones Lyndcoat BR2430, bladder life increases significantly compared with conventional release agents. This ensures reduced bladder costs and press downtime, thereby increasing productivity.
Bluestar Silicones has also focused on the cost of the release agent treatment by mastering high performance with reduced coat weight. Passenger car tires may be coated with as little as 4-10g wet weight of Lyndcoat BR2430.
Direct benefits are reduced release agent consumption, improved spray efficiency and cleanliness as well as major savings in warehouse space and internal transport.
All of Bluestar Silicones commercial Lyndcoat® products were at origin tailor-made to fit manufacturers' processes and meet their needs of productivity, quality and reliability.
A dedicated team of engineers works in close cooperation with the tire manufacturers to develop the release agents that will help to reach their targets in productivity and reliability.
Meet us at Tire Technology Expo 2016 in Hannover, Germany from February 16th to 18th, 2016, booth C324.
