One of the largest suppliers of silicone to the label industry, Bluestar Silicones will present, during the Label Summit Latin America 2016, in Cartagena, Colombia, the latest additions to it’s Silcolease® release coatings range
Bluestar Silicones, the leading silicone release coating system supplier to the label market, will present several new products in this edition of Label Summit Latin America, on April 26 and 27, in Cartagena, Colombia. Bluestar Silicones will showcase its Silcolease® range for the self-adhesive industry, including a few new products to further supplement the widest range of release coating silicones available on the market today.
The label industry moves forward with a growing demand for fast cure products and systems delivering a flat release. The latest Bluestar polymer, Silcolease POLY 371 continues delivering your potential through optimized cure and release profile performance.
Our novel polymer delivers perfect low speed release force values, minimizing the need for high doses of modulator (RCA - Release Control Additive) whilst allowing high seed label dispensing (easy high speed release force) to ensure the productivity our customers expect.
Combined with the latest crosslinkers of the fast-cure OPTIMA range, it is possible to attain high machine speeds and platinum catalyst savings. Silcolease XL 315 was designed to perfectly complement this new polymer and give robust, durable anchorage, maintaining an optimal level of Platinum and offering fast cure.
For new substrates in the label industry and all other release liner applications, get to know the full range of Silcolease® products, including our new UV Acrylate 1K ready to use Silcolease UV Poly 118 and Silcolease UV POLY 120 systems. These mono-component systems are designed to be ready to use and are adapted to all types of labels, tapes, and hygienic products, including linerless applications. To further complement this growing range, we can also propose and discuss new additives designed to reduce misting with UV Acrylates systems, as well as other performance additives.
Silcolease ADD 398 is an additive designed to reduce the release force using 1% to 2% in the bath formulation, and it provides a premium release for a solvent based system range. Silcolease XL 311 is a crosslinking agent developed for use in polyethylene coated kraft (PEK). It provides excellent cure at low temperatures and high anchoring rates to the substrate.
