Elkem Silicones will promote its full range of high performance silicone solutions for the plastics recycling market including antifoams, cleaning formulations and separation aids at Plastics Recycling 2018, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, booth 1015, in Nashville, Tenn., February 19 through 21.
Elkem Silicones will feature its silicone antifoam emulsion products, Silcolapse® 623 and Silcolapse® 723, which enable processers to achieve immediate defoaming results with less antifoam than traditional products for impactful and efficient results.
In addition to its antifoams and defoamers, Elkem Silicones will highlight Bluesil™ Clean 101 and Bluesil™ Clean 102, functional low-foam cleaning formulations designed specifically for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polyethylene (PE) wash systems.
Elkem Silicones also will showcase its separation aids, Bluesil™ SP 3300 and Bluesil™ SP3304, which are unique, high performance silicone-based polymers that provide wetting properties and produce low surface tension. These materials provide plastic separation at low load levels for a smooth and efficient sink-float process.
"Our customers' success is our success," said Roman Radekevich, market manager for Elkem Silicones Specialty Fluids in North America. "We strive to deliver silicone solutions targeted to make the recycling process easier and more cost-effective for our customers."
