BLUESIL TCS 7562 A

BLUESIL TCS 7562 A/B is a two-component heat curing liquid silicone elastomer, which cures by a polyaddition reaction.  Textile Coating Systems (TCS). All products from the Textile Coating System product line are specially engineered for textile coating applications.

Coating;Fabric Coating;Fire Protection;High Temperature Protection;Protection;UV resistant;Water Repellency

2 Part RTV

  • High bond strength without primer on textiles from different origins.
  • Allows very low coat weights (< 30 g/m²).
  • Provides high tear strength and high comb stripping resistance to the coated fabric.
  •  Low thermal conductivity (high insulation properties).
  •  Long bath life at room temperature (> 16 h).
  • Fast cure at elevated temperature.
  • Solventless technology.
  • Low viscosity and easily pump able to sustain high coating speed

Technical textile coatings, such as industrial and high-performance fabrics.

Processing / Curing Processing

The similar viscosity of parts A and B enables quick and easy mixing thanks to disposable static mixers. Application can be carried out either manually or, in case of larger quantities, using automatic dispensing equipment. It is recommended to apply BLUESILTCS 7562 A/B on clean and dry surfaces. When container has been opened, material must be used rapidly and/or resealed properly.

Adhesion depends on the curing condition. A preliminary test is recommended to determine optimum cure conditions.

Curing inhibition may occur in contact with certain materials containing tin salts, amines or sulphur. A preliminary test is recommended.
