Components should be well mixed before use. The blend, before and after use, should be stored in appropriate conditions: closed container, with a temperature preferably below +35°C (95°F) and not exposed to light. In such conditions, a blend may be stored during several months and re-used.
Both Ultraviolet light and Electron Beam curing must be carried out under oxygen-deficient atmosphere (typically below 100 ppm and preferably below 50 ppm residual O2).
Consult Elkem Silicones for technical assistance in the selection of appropriate photo-initiators and conditions of irradiation (power, spectrum etc…) for UV or EB processing.

For low surface energy substrates (BOPP, PE film, thermal paper …), the amount of SILCOLEASE UV POLY 111 may be increased to ensure good anchorage.
To reduce zippiness or to improve the stability of release, SILCOLEASE UV RCA 170 may be added to SILCOLEASE UV POLY 112.
Do not to store SILCOLEASE UV POLY 100 Series products and their blends in N2 environments.

SILCOLEASE UV POLY 112
SILCOLEASE UV POLY 112 silicone system is a 100% reactive release coating chemistry based on acrylate-modified silicone copolymer technology.
Instantaneous and complete cure is achieved by simply passing the coating under Ultraviolet (UV) light with photoinitiator SILCOLEASE UV CATA 102 or UV CATA 103 or by Electron Beam (EB) without photoinitiator.
SILCOLEASE UV POLY 112 can be formulated with products from Silcolease UV Poly 100 series.
