​​When stored in the original, unopened container between (2 and 40°C), SILCOLAPSE® 495 can be stored for 12 months from the date of manufacture. Beyond this date, Bluestar Silicones no longer guarantees that the product meets the original sales specifications.​

SILCOLAPSE 495

​SILCOLAPSE® 495 is a high performance silicone antifoam emulsion designed for use in a wide range of aqueous industrial applications. The product effectively controls foam at concentrations as low as 10 ppm solids, even at elevated temperatures and under pressure. SILCOLAPSE® 495 gives good results at wide-ranging pH and is effective under highly alkaline or acidic conditions.

If prediluting product, do not use less than 1% solids and always dilute water into silicone. Infrequently, separation can occur during transport or storage; if this occurs, agitate gently until homogeneous.
