BLUESIL RT FOAM 3244 B

Bluesil™ RT Foam 3244 A & B is a two-component silicone foam which cures at room temperature by an addition cure reaction. When the A and B liquid components are thoroughly mixed in 1:1 ratio, the product expands and cures to a foamed elastomer at room temperature and can be accelerated by heating.

Both part A and B can have filler separation. Before using, mix thoroughly the individual parts in order to re-homogenize them to ensure a uniform final foam. Part A and Part B must be thoroughly mixed. For optimized foam and cell formation, Part A and Part B need to be thoroughly mixed together. For small batch mixing by hand, mix Parts A & B thoroughly, including scraping the sides and bottom of the container. Dynamic mixing is the preferred method of mixing to obtain an optimized foam. Mixing solely with a static mixer is not recommended.

Once the Part A and Part B have been mixed. the mixed material should be applied quickly in the application to obtain optimum foam characteristics.
