BLUESIL SLT VI 10 is a one component sealant curing under the action of natural air humidity. For this reason it is particularly easy to process since it requires no prior mixing.
All surfaces must be clean and dry, and free from any dust, grease or any traces of contaminants which may affect adhesion.
To degrease, wipe with a pad soaked in solvent then with a clean cloth. Dust should be removed using oil-free compressed air.
Applying the sealant:
The equipment required to apply BLUESIL SLT VI 10 comprises a moving-top pump combined with a dispensing gun. The connecting piping must be made from humidity-tight materials and be capable of withstanding the pump exit pressure.
Windows filled with BLUESIL SLT VI 10 can be handled within a relatively short period of time depending on the joint section.

BLUESIL SLT VI 10 BLACK
BLUESIL SLT VI 10 is a one component, odourless, ready to use neutral silicone elastomer mainly used as second barrier seal in the Double Glazing market.
It cures at room temperature, under the effect of natural air humidity to give a flexible seal with high mechanical performance levels.
1 Part RTV Alcoxy
BLUESIL SLT VI 10 combines the advantages of an elastomer providing primerless adhesion and good neutrality relative to surfaces encountered in Double Glazing applications.
Its high modulus is perfectly suited to this application, whilst enabling easy elongation.
BLUESIL SLT VI 10 can also be used with various types of conventional coated glass, without any risk of attacking the latter.
BLUESIL SLT VI 10 is perfectly compatible with butyl type sealants used as the first barrier.
BLUESIL SLT VI 10 has outstanding durability and perfect resistance to UV, which extends its possible application to cover all double glazing types including those in which the seal is directly exposed to the sun.
BLUESIL SLT VI 10 is mainly intended for double glazing sealing applications, as the second barrier (with the first barrier being formed by a butyl bead).
It can also be used for all bonding applications requiring a flexible seal with high modulus.
