SILCOLEASE XL 327 is used as a crosslinker for the bath preparation of SILCOLEASE solventless systems in the proportion of 3 to 12 parts for 100 parts of polymer, and at a Platinum catalyst concentration between 25 and 50 ppm. It is always used with an appropriate polymer and catalyst from the SILCOLEASE range of products.
With some SILCOLEASE vinyl polymers, the addition of SILCOLEASE XL 327 to the coating bath will produce a cloudy formulation. Whilst we recommend very thorough mixing as with all our solventless formulations, the hazy appearance of some baths using SILCOLEASE XL 327 will remain permanently, this is normal and to be expected.

SILCOLEASE XL 327 has been specifically designed to produce a strong anchorage on a wide variety of substrates. On some papers a longer period of time is required for full anchorage to develop. As the cure of the silicone coating is unaffected by this anchorage phenomenon, stable release values of adhesive in-line coating laminates can be achieved.
Warning: SILCOLEASE CROSSLINKER and SILCOLEASE CATALYST may react violently together and therefore must not be blended together separately from the other components of the system.

SILCOLEASE XL 327 is a methyl hydrogen silicone polymeric based product used as a crosslinker for solventless polyaddition SILCOLEASE systems.
SILCOLEASE XL 327 has been especially designed to give excellent cure performance with Optima Concept components allowing faster running speeds, lower temperature cure and reduced catalyst levels with improved anchorage on various substrates.
SILCOLEASE XL 327 has been specifically designed for silicone coaters which will be in-line adhesive coated.
