Typical usage is an application of a sealant bead along the seam pattern of an airbag.
The product is static mixed and applied with a handgun or a 3D automat. Preferably use a 2-components dispensing machine.
Then the second fabric panel is applied, and a roller with a 1mm shoulder is used to press the sealant bead at the right thickness.
Material is left to cure for 24 hours.
Curing inhibition may occur in contact with certain materials containing tin salts, amines or sulphur. A preliminary test is always recommended.
Adhesion on coated fabrics will depend on the type of silicone coating, its coverage quality of the textile substrate, and the overall cleanness of the composite. Preliminary testing is recommended.
After use, packaging must be tightly closed and protected against moisture contamination to preserve its properties. When packaging has been opened, material should be used rapidly.

BLUESIL TCS 7770 CATA
Bluesil TCS 7770 is a two-component silicone bonding material that reinforces the stitched areas in a "cut and sewn" airbag, for inflatable curtains used in case of side impacts and rollover events.
Bluesil TCS 7770 will elongate at the time of deployment to dissipate the energy, and protect the assembly/stitching thread from mechanical and thermal stress. The assembled cut & sewn cushion is rendered completely leak-proof, for longer pressure retention times.
