SILCOLEASE MRA 385 is used as an additive with a SILCOLEASE solventless release system between 1 and 6%, at intermediate to high coating speeds and between 7 and 13% at the highest coating speeds.
SILCOLEASE MRA 385 is used as an additive in the bath preparation of
solventless SILCOLEASE systems.
SILCOLEASE MRA 385 must be used in association with a base polymer, for example SILCOLEASE 11367, a crosslinker, for example SILCOLEASE CROSSLINKER XL 321, a catalyst, for example SILCOLEASE CATALYST 11091M and when required a Release Control Additive, for example SILCOLEASE RCA 396.

Typically recommended addition levels based on parts of MRA385 per 100 parts Silcolease polymer.
At speeds of:
- 500 – 1200 m/min use 3 - 6 parts MRA 385
- 1300 – 1600 m/min use 7 - 13 parts MRA 385

SILCOLEASE MRA 385
SILCOLEASE MRA 385 is a 2nd generation mist reducing additive used with solventless SILCOLEASE polyaddition release systems processed at high running speeds. Based on branched silicone polymer technology, SILCOLEASE MRA 385 is effective at much lower doses than 1st generation mist reducing products at line speeds up to 1600 m/min. Typical addition levels from 2% to 6% are sufficient for most applications up to about 1000 m/min.
