SILCOLEASE POLY 367 is formulated with the addition of a catalyst, for example SILCOLEASE CATA crosslinker, for example SILCOLEASE XL 327 and if necessary a release control additive, for example SILCOLEASE RCA 395.

Recommended formulation, typical :

SILCOLEASE POLY 367...............................100 parts

SILCOLEASE XL 327......................................6.0 to 8.5 parts

SILCOLEASE CATA 12070...........................1.5 to 3.0 parts

Bath preparation:

It is recommended to mix the products while stirring in the following order:

Mix together thoroughly SILCOLEASE POLY 367 and SILCOLEASE XL 327 before adding the SILCOLEASE CATA 12070 and completely mixing to a fully homogeneous blend. A slightly cloudy appearance to the bath is normal and has no detrimental effect on the coating.

Ideally, SILCOLEASE RCA 395, when needed, is initially mixed with the SILCOLEASE XL 327, followed by SILCOLEASE POLY 367. Mix these together thoroughly before finally adding SILCOLEASE CATA 12070 and completely mixing to a fully homogeneous blend.

Warning: SILCOLEASE XL and SILCOLEASE CATA may react violently together and therefore must not be blended together separate from the other system components.

When stored in its original packaging at a temperature between -20°C and +30°C, SILCOLEASE POLY 367 may be stored for up to 24 months from its date of manufacture.

Comply with the storage instructions and expiry date marked on the packaging.

Beyond this date, Bluestar Silicones no longer guarantees that the product meets the sales specifications.

Avoid discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground. Store in a cool, dry place with adequate ventilation. Keep away from incompatible materials, open flames, and high temperatures. SILCOLEASE POLY 367 is a solventless silicone polymer used for release coating of papers, films and various substrates. 

It has been especially designed to give excellent cure performance with Optima concept components allowing lower temperature cure or reduced catalyst levels.
