SILCOLEASE EMULSION 907 is generally used with an emulsion crosslinker and catalyst, e.g. SILCOLEASE EMULSION XL 969 and SILCOLEASE EMULSION CATA 903 and if required, with a release control additive, e.g. SILCOLEASE EMULSION RCA 954.

When SILCOLEASE EMULSION RCA 954 is used, it is substituted for an equal quantity of SILCOLEASE EMULSION the formulation. Please refer to SILCOLEASE EMULSION RCA 954 TDS for more detail.

Bath preparation:
It is recommended to dilute the emulsion by adding water whilst stirring moderately and then adding the crosslinker followed by the catalyst In the case of baths prepared using SILCOLEASE EMULSION RCA 954, add this before dilution, mixing with the SILCOLEASE EMULSION 907 base polymer.

SILCOLEASE EMULSION 907 may be stored at a temperature between 2 °C/ 36 °F and 30 °C/ 86 °F for up to 24 months from its date of manufacturing.Please consult the Safety Data Sheet of this product.Heavy Metals

SILCOLEASE EMULSION 907

SILCOLEASE EMULSION 907 is a SILICONE EMULSION and is used as the base polymer in a three part formulation intended for the RELEASE COATING OF PAPERS, and various other substrates.
SILCOLEASE EMULSION 907 cures by a polyaddition reaction in the presence of suitable emulsions of crosslinker and an organometallic catalyst, for example (e.g. SILCOLEASE EMULSION XL 969 and SILCOLEASE EMULSION CATA 903) to give an ELASTOMERIC type coating. It may be used to coat substrates that meet “food contact application” requirements.
