BLUESIL PRIM PM 824 is particularly easy to process because it is delivered ready to use. In all cases, it must be applied to clean, dry surfaces.
BLUESIL PRIM PM 824 is applied with a dry cloth in a thin, uniform coat. In such cases of too much quantity of primer applying, white powder appears and must be eliminated in order to avoid a bad adhesion due to hydrolysis problems; the primer must be re-applied.
After applying BLUESIL PRIM PM 824, it is recommended to wait 15 minutes minimum to leave it time to dry, at room temperature, before applying, pouring or injecting the silicone elastomer on the primer-prepared surface. Maximum waiting time before silicone elastomer’s application is 6 hours.
In order to avoid any hydrolysis problems, it is recommended not to leave the can in contact with atmospheric humidity.
