SILCOLEASE EMULSION 912 is generally used with a catalyst, e.g. SILCOLEASE EMULSION CATALYST 913 and if required, with a release control additive, e.g. SILCOLEASE EMULSION RCA 954 combined with SILCOLEASE EMULSION XL 968 or 969.

Recommended formulation, typical:
SILCOLEASE EMULSION 912................................. 100 parts
SILCOLEASE EMULSION CATALYST 913.............6-15 parts
Diluent water ..............................sufficient for solids content > 8%
It is recommended to dilute the emulsion by adding water whilst stirring moderately and then adding the catalyst and the other co-products as required.

SILCOLEASE EMULSION 912 may be stored at a temperature between 2 °C/ 36 °F and 30 °C/ 86 °F for up to 12 months from its date of manufacturing. Please consult the Safety Data Sheet of this product.Food Contact;Heavy Metals

SILCOLEASE EMULSION 912 is a silicone emulsion intended for the release coating of papers and various other substrates.
SILCOLEASE EMULSION 912 cures by a polyaddition reaction in the presence of an organometallic catalyst, for example SILCOLEASE EMULSION CATALYST 913 producing an elastomeric coating.
The release properties of the coatings can be modified as required.
