SILCOLEASE 429 is used in association with the crosslinker SILCOLEASE CROSSLINKER 92A and the catalysts SILCOLEASE CATALYST 62A and SILCOLEASE CATALYST 62B and, if necessary a release control additive, for example SILCOLEASE RCA 3.

SILCOLEASE CROSSLINKER 92 A........................ 1.4 to 1.8 parts
SILCOLEASE CATALYST 62 A.................................. 3 to 5 parts
SILCOLEASE CATALYST 62 B................................... 3 to 5 parts
Dilution solvent.................................................quantity for a.s. 3-8%

Bath preparation:
The solvent used for diluting can be aliphatic or aromatic. It is recommended to charge solvent first and commence stirring. During stirring the products should be charged successively: SILCOLEASE 429 first, SILCOLEASE CROSSLINKER 92 A second, next the RCA when required, then SILCOLEASE CATALYST 62 A and finally SILCOLEASE CATALYST 62 B.

SILCOLEASE POLY 429

SILCOLEASE 429 is a silicone polymer diluted in an aromatic solvent intended for release applications involving papers, plastic films, and various substrates, except papers used for food contact.
SILCOLEASE 429 cures by a polycondensation reaction with an organometallic compound and a crosslinker and an elastomeric type coating is obtained.
The release properties of the coating can be modified.
