SILCOLEASE 7440 can be used with a catalyst, for example SILCOLEASE CATALYST 93 B, with a crosslinker, for example SILCOLEASE CROSSLINKER , and, if necessary a release control additive, for example SILCOLEASE RCA 3.

Recommended formulation, typical:
SILCOLEASE 7440............................................................. .........100 parts
SILCOLEASE CROSSLINKER 91 A...................................... ............0.7 part
SILCOLEASE CATALYST 93 B........................................................ 1 parts
Dilution solvent................................................... .....to solids level required
Bath preparation:
The solvent used for diluting can be aliphatic or aromatic.
It is recommended to charge solvent first and commence stirring.

Disperse the polymer SILCOLEASE 7440 completely in the dilution solvent.
It is recommended to add the other products in the following order:
SILCOLEASE RCA 3 when needed, mix thoroughly and then add SILCOLEASE CROSSLINKER , mix together thoroughly before finally adding SILCOLEASE CATALYST 93 B and complete mixing to a fully homogeneous blend.

Warning: SILCOLEASE CROSSLINKER and SILCOLEASE CATALYST may react violently together and therefore must not be blended together separately from the other components of the system.

SILCOLEASE POLY 7440 may be stored at a temperature between -20 °C/ -4 °F and 30 °C/ 86 °F for up to 24 months from its date of manufacturing. Please consult the Safety Data Sheet of this product.Heavy Metals

SILCOLEASE POLY 7440

SILCOLEASE 7440 is a silicone polymer diluted in an aliphatic solvent intended for release applications involving papers, plastic films and various substrates.
SILCOLEASE 7440 cures by a polyaddition reaction with an organometallic compound and a crosslinker. An elastomeric type coating is obtained.
The release properties of the coating can be modified.
