BLUESIL ADD 11013 is recommended to be added after the pigments to minimise potential risk of colour change.
Thinning of BLUESIL ADD 11013 with an appropriate diluent (see above) may make its incorporation into the formulation easier.
A dose of between 0.2 and 0.5 % is normally enough. However, when a particular mar-resistant surface finish is required, doses can be increased up to 1 to 2 %.
These suggested doses are for orientation. Optimal levels must be determined by laboratory tests.

BLUESIL ADD 11013 is a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane for use in solventless paints and varnishes, and in water-based paints and inks.

- It provides excellent substrate wetting of critical surfaces, especially for water-based paints and inks,
- it acts as a mar and scratch resistance agent.
BLUESIL ADD 11013 does not negatively effect intercoat adhesion.
