On the occasion of In-cosmetics London 2017, Bluestar Silicones reinforces commitment to the cosmetics industry.

Bluestar Silicones with its Mirasil® range of products has a long track record in the cosmetics industry and is a well-recognized supplier of high quality silicones ingredients for use in Hair Care, Skin Care and Color cosmetics formulations.

Faced with fast increasing demand for standard products, Bluestar Silicones will now start to promote Mirasil® grades produced in the newly commissioned capacities of Bluestar Xinghuo Chinese plant, customers from all zones  will thus progressively benefit by greater availability and supply chain flexibility .

In Europe, Bluestar Silicones is also engaged in a 2 steps debottlenecking project of its Cyclopentasiloxane capacities in its Saint-Fons plant which will also result in extra availability already from Q1 2018 and more to follow.

On the specialties side, after the launch in 2016 of 4 high performance ingredients ( Mirasil® CAPRYLYL TSO , Mirasil® BALANCE , Mirasil® CETYL DM , Mirasil® PEG 12 DM ), Bluestar Silicones continues to widen its offering for Skin Care and Color Cosmetics with the introduction at In-cosmetics London of Mirasil® C-DMX 12.

Mirasil® C-DMX 12 is a silicone gel emollient that enhances light and nourishing skin feel to anti-aging, moisturizers and color cosmetics, and Mirasil® STEARYL DM, a silicone wax which melts in contact with skin providing  dryness protection as well as a non-tacky and smooth feel.

In-cosmetics 2017 will be held in London, England, from April 4th to 6th, 2017.

Come to meet us and discuss on our booth AA30.
